• 6 plain or whole-wheat bagels, split in half
• 1 cup marinara or pizza sauce
• 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
• 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
• 1 teaspoon dried oregano
• 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
• Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
• Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
• Step 2: Split the bagels in half and arrange them cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.
• Step 3: Spread a tablespoon or two of marinara sauce onto each bagel half, being sure to cover the surface evenly.
• Step 4: Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese over the sauce, dividing it evenly among the bagel halves.
• Step 5: Season the bagels with dried oregano, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to taste.
• Step 6: Bake the pizza bagels for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges of the bagels are lightly golden brown.
• Step 7: Remove the pizza bagels from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
